Last night I had the opportunity of attending the BETExperience + NISSAN Mix & Versa event here in Chicago at Moonlight Studio. The exclusive Networking Experience was invite and RSVP only, so if you were in the building you were pretty lucky.
The space was packed with beautiful brown women and men of Chicago ranging from musical artists to publicists and CEO’s. A LIT environment coupled with cocktails & cuisine, topped off with a special intimate performance from Lucky Daye, himself! If you aren’t familiar with his face (which is beautiful, by the way 😍) just yet you’ve surely heard his hit song, Roll Some Mo, at some point or another. IT’S A VIBE!
Not to mention guest appearances by Ryan Henry of 9MAG Chicago, comedian Chanelle “NellySoFunny” Graham and artist, Hebru Brantley! The DJ was a hit and the atmosphere was just as intoxicating. We had live art and photo opps for daayyysssss 😂!
If you saw me and my girl, sports journalist, Chaundia Jones living our best lives on the dance floor and you happened to have joined in — HEY, BOO! Lol. I love a good, black “keekee soiree.” I can’t wait to do it again!
