Mission Statement

Always write what can be felt.

Brown Girls Who Write. is a non-profit organization that welcomes brown girls who are interested in learning writing styles, publishing processes and all things writing. We also have a sub-organization within BGWW, called Brown Boys Write Too. that offers the same services for young men. You are free to share your work openly, ask for feedback or simply enjoy the works of other freelance writers. The organization was created in 2018. We are looking for members. Everyone is welcome. Primary meeting location will be Oak Park Public Library.
